Trouble
Shooting：
If your duplicators have troubles, you may repair it as follows. It
is strongly recommend that you should the duplicator to your local
service office.
● Power indicator is lightless:
When power switch is turned on: power does not pass therefore you
should inspect power, power wires, socket and so on; open the back
socket to checkup whether fuse blown or not.
● Tape does not run:
The tape does not run when you press the key of COPY or REWIND, first
of all, please checkup the motor, whether it runs or not, if the motor
does not run, please checkup power condition. If the motor is under
normal condition, it is mostly that belt drops out or belt roller
relaxes, all these problems can be repaired.
● LED is no indication;
Four level LED are the amount of tour track for indicating original
tape. if four level LED of some of them are no indication.
① checkup electric potential circling button to see whether it is
in proper position(0dB);
② to checkup tape head of playback cabinet to see whether it is clean
of not, you may use absorbent cotton with less waterless ethanol of
head cleaner to clean the dirty places of the head.
③ to checkup head writes including plugs and etc. to see whether
there is a wire broken of worse connection.
④ to checkup working voltage.
⑤ to checkup original tape, just put original tape to the stereosonic
recorder for play and listen.
● Sound slight, sound can’t recorded
on one track of some tracks of your tape:
The tape head is a damageable parts, it will be damaged after long
recording time.
When you find that sound slight, sound cannot be recorded on one track
of some tracks in your tape.
① please inspect the tape head to see whether it is clean of not;
as well as damaged extent, you should do cleaning of replacement according
to the conditions.
② to adjust azimuth angle.
● Adjustment of azimuth angle for tape head:
① playback Cabinet: standard test tape(TEST TAPE)or high frequency
Copious music tape can directly be used for playback, to adjust the
Screw of spring which is on the left side of the head with your screwdriver
to keep the output maximum.
② Recording cabinet:
To disconnect the erase head wire from the circuit board, to turn
down head plug of playback cabinet; to insert the head plug of recording
cabinet which is needed to adjust azimuth angle into playback board
head socket, to play in this recording cabinet, then adjust screw
of tape head to keep output maximum.
③ All recording boards of cabinets are the same. The hitch of circuit
board of tape head can be judged by replacing other normal recording
boards when one recording cabinet appears problem.
● Sound slight, distortion large during
recording:
If all cabinets appear sound slight, distortion large during recording,
it is mostly that the BIAS Oscillator has no output to inspect broken
wires, damaged components. If sound slight and distortion large in
one of cabinets, please inspect normalization of the amplified circuits
of BIAS Oscillator and plugs.
● Flutter seriously and distortion
large of tape clamping:
①Main driving shaft is partly sliding. If magnetic particle, dust
of greasy dirt sticking on main driving shaft is partly sliding. If
magnetic particle, dust of greasy dirt sticking on main driving shaft
of pinch roller, the friction condition will be changed to amplify
tape sliding flutter, therefore, you may use absorbent cotton with
less waterless ethanol of head cleaner to clean the dirty places .(Particular
be careful about cotton fiber that is not allowed to wind on the shaft
of pinch roller and main driving shaft.);
②Outer circle rubber of pinch roller should be replaced if it is
old enough or deformed;
③Clutch and rubber roller can be cleaned of replaced if it has greasy
dirt of deterioration.
④If motor runs instable. please inspect the normalization of power,
the motor will gradually deform for long recording time, but motor
can be replaced.
